Anyway! I'm off to a museum with the famalam (Yes I'm cool) today so no fashion post! However I do have a post that was meant for yesterday but I forgot about!
What You'll need:
- Paper
- Glue (Pritt stick is best but I couldn't find one when I was making this- so PVA glue works fine)
- Old magazines that you don't mind cutting up
- Pencil
- Scissors
- Coloured pens (optional)
Step-By-Step
1) Decide what design you want (I chose a sunset over the beach) and draw out the design roughly in pencil. Decide what colour each section is going to be and write it down so you don't forget.
2) Take your magazines and begin to cut out the first colour that you want.
3) Once you think you have collected together enough of that colour begin to cut the strips up into medium sized shapes to give the collage its layered effect.
4) Spread glue around the section you wish to stick the particular colour onto.
5) Stick the pieces of coloured paper onto the section you have glued. I like to begin lining the perimeter and then fill in the centre.
6) Repeat this step all the way around your design until the collage is finished!
7) Fill in any white spaces with the correct coloured pen if necessary.
You're finished!
This is my finished collage!
This is just a GIF I made showing the process of my collage :)
I do hope you enjoyed this step-by-step and maybe try it yourself!
