Vintage Market

Today me and my mum went to a vintage market which is in wood street near where i live. I'd never been before but had always heard great things about it so we decided to go while it wasn't poring with rain! I was SO pleased that the market turned out to be exactly what I'd expected, if not better! It was indoors so I wasn't cold and the little shops were in tiny cosy rooms which could barely fit 2 or 3 people. They were filled to the ceiling with colourful vintage shoes, dresses, shirts, skirts, scarfs, tops and lots and LOTS of jewelry! I was in heaven! There was loads of 60 style dressed with long skirts and bright floral patterns, but still being a child not many fitted me!

However I found THE NICEST dress ever- and just to make it even more great it fitted me and was only £6! It literally made my day! Its quite short and the skirt is straight but gathers in at the bottom, I think it's called a bubble skirt? And it is covered in bright Aztec patterns. I can't describe how cool it is so here's some pictures (sorry for bad photography it was hard to get the whole dress):

I just think it's really original and i know that no one else will ever have it! And at just £6- how could I resist?

The second thing I purchased was a bit of a dilemma because i liked it- but it was hard to tell if it would look good on! However it was only £1 so i decided to go for it and I'm really glad that i did! It's this frilly lace top that sits on your shoulders. I'm wearing a plain vest (primark) underneath and some jeans (H&M). Since the outfit was overall quite plain i decided to team it with some accessories (scarf- charity shop, Rabbit Necklace- Forever 21).

And finally i picked up two bags! One was £5 and one was free from the market! I love them both and am looking forward to using them in the future

well that was a long post!
