Holiday DIYing

Hey there!
Sorry for not doing the regular OOTDs that i said i would- I haven't really been getting up to much so i haven't been wearing anything special! I'm hopefully going to be meeting up with a few of my friends soon! I'm planning things Tilly and Charmaine.. and maybe Katherine... if she's not too busy (please click the links). So obviously I'll be wearing something good then and will hopefully post about it! Anyway onto the actual post!

So as it's the holidays I've got LOTS of free time and I've spent the last hour browsing through my favourite DIY blogs and youtube channels! I've found a couple of really cute DIYs I'd like to put my own spin on and that's what today's post is going to be about! There are three things altogether so I hope you enjoy and are inspired just like i was!

  1. 2 minutes lace box top DIY tee-shirt
Now this is a video I stumbled across while browsing youtube from a channel I have quickly fallen in love with: BoatPeopleVintage. Now lace is a real trend this year and this simple DIY tutorial is n easy way to create something really beautiful!

Don't you think it's beautiful! I would style this with some jean shorts and a coloured tank top underneath which would be great for a summer look! Or swap the shorts for leggings and add a denim jacket for the colder days! I'm sure to pop down to the market to pick up some lace for this tutorial!

  2. Beaded Fringe Top
This video I also love but I'm not very familiar with this persons channel and I don't think they do many DIYs. However I really do like this DIY and think it's so quick and cheap! I saw a similar top on My Tumblr dashboard and hadddddddd to know how! This tutorial was helpful but I thought about putting my own spin on it. As you may know I am a fan of painting my own tee shirts (see this post for more) and so I thought it would be a good idea to do a simple black elephant on a top and then fringe it as shown in the video below.

    3.  Boho Boots
Now this tutorial is from a channel i adore : TheMrKate
This is my favourite of her tutorials as i love the originality and I know that every creation will be unique! I have nothing else to add as the video explains it all! Apart form that I'm planning on purchasing all the items from a local charity shop!

Thanks a lot for reading and I hope you like this post! I'll be back soon with another OOTD. I'll also tell you how any of this goes when I get round to it!

P.S I'm not really sure why bloggers not letting me Put up the Youtube videos in the post like it normally does so I've had to settle with links- sorry.
